Whether you travel frequently or occasionally, we all run into the same hang-ups and headaches when it comes to going to a destination and back and you definitely need essential traveling items for your journey. I am very focused on small traveling ideas since I and my husband are planning to make our trip to the northern areas of Pakistan.
So, I am planning to buy the most helpful things to keep a trip as smooth and comfortable as possible. Here are the top 10 items a girl must-have while traveling.
Duffel Bag or Suitcase
Depending on where you’re headed, one of the most important things you need to buy is your suitcase. If you’re off for a weekend adventure, go for a duffel or a bag pack. If your trip is a week or longer, think about getting a rolling suitcase and just bringing a smaller carry-on.
Why not spice up your outfits for vacations? Buying colorful accessories will let you shine like a diamond, especially if you’re packing some basic stuff. This funky scarf can be paired with plain jeans and a shirt.
Toiletries/ Makeup Bag
You’re going to want a container to keep your toothpaste, lotion, shampoo, toothbrush, and conditioner organized. If they’re in your bag, you won’t risk them drip into your bag or clothes. Buy the makeup bag. This one is really cute.
Look stylish and chic while sightseeing with your travel buddies. Even in cloudy weather, UV rays can be strong and damaging to your eyes. These shades will protect your eyes from dangerous rays, and give you an ultra-cool look.
Wallet or Clutch
You’ll want somewhere to store your ticket stubs, money, little mementos that you collect during your trip. This leather one is stylish and multifunctional. Throw your wallet or clutch in purse and just go.
Depending on when and where you’re going, you will feel relax that you brought along your travel umbrella. Especially if you are doing to a sightseeing trip with a lot of walking, getting caught in the rain will be no big thing if you’ve brought your mini umbrella you. Go with a perfect umbrella as the location may be caught by rain and wind.
Mini Hair Straightener
If doing your hair helps you feel like the best version of yourself, you may want to bring along a styling tool that is small enough to fit in your carry on. You can rock beach waves, curls, or straight and stylin’ hair with this mini ceramic straightener. Perfect for preparing for a night out.
Don’t be taking a variety of foundation and mascaras, they will only slide off your face and hit a Thai man in the eye. When you’re out in the open air with the breeze and sun on your face, you will want to feel light and free.
A moisturizing foundation will probably work best, you can cover your spots and blemishes and still have a light base with SPF as a bonus. I would always use a bright colored lipstick over a mascara too. No pandas you know. And chuck an eyebrow pencil in there. Without one I don’t have any eyebrows and look like I should be on The Jeremy Kyle Show.
Having something to snack on, while traveling is important to keep your energy up and hunger down. Most of the time, passengers are only given small cups of water, juice, or soda for the entire journey, if you are traveling from the bus. Chewing gum while travelling in the mountains will help pop the pressure in your ears.
